Over There! 3D

Bom essa é a versão 3D do "Over there!" que fiz em 2D. Na verdade ficou diferente da imagem 2d que fiz, mas foi importante para entender as possibilidades que cada técnica te proporciona. Pequena história: Depois de um dia cheio e estressante no trabalho, ele estava voltando a pé para casa, quando de repente alguma coisa interessante chamou sua atenção. Ele levou alguns minutos prestando atenção àquela coisa estranha que passava sobre sua cabeça. Ninguém viu aquilo, apenas ele.

Well, This is the version 3d of "Over there!". Actually the 3d version was got different from version 2d, but it was important to understand the possibilities that each technique gives you. Small story: After full day stressful, he comes home by foot, suddenly something interesting calling his attention. He takes some minutes paying attention in that strange "thing" that passes over his head. Nobody has seen that "thing", only him.

Castle Dragon 3D

Depois de fazer um esboço, ter pintado em aquarela a cena, resolvi fazer essa ilustração em 3D (versão noturna). Além da imagem finalizada, está a imagem sem texturização (como se fosse massinha) e a imagem monocromática (ambient occlusion). A história dessa ilustração é a seguinte: Era uma vez num lugar montanhoso e de difícil acesso a todos, um pequeno camponês anônimo vivia isolado em suas terras. Era daquelas pessoas em que sua vida se resumia a fazeres para sua sobrevivência e conservação do seu modesto castelo. Numa de suas idas e vindas cotidianas resolvendo problemas campesinos, ao chegar no seu castelo dá de cara com um gigante dragão que na sua visão era aterrorizante, mas que na verdade é bastante inofensivo. Mas agora o dragão acha que o castelo é dele. Juntando o susto com essa terrível informação para o camponês, este não sabe o que fazer.

After I make a sketch, paint a watercolor, I decide done this scene in 3D (night version). Here there be a clay version (no texture) and a monocromatic version (ambient occlusion). The story this illustration is: Once upon a time in a hilly place and hard acess for all, lives a small anonymous farmer in a isolated own castle. He is those people that his life is only for keeping his survival and conserve his modest castle. One day, when he comes home, he have face-to-face with a giant dragon that he hasn´t never seen. In a first moment for him that dragon was scary, but in truth that dragon was inofensive. But the dragon wants the castle for him now. Join the fright and this terrible information for the farmer, he doesn´t know what to do.

A peça. / The piece.

A vida é quase um tetris. A gente tem um grande trabalho para construir as coisas, pensa que tudo está sob controle, mas de repente por um deslize impensado seu as coisas mudam. Aquela peça em segundos transforma em ruínas aquilo que foi construído. As peças começam a se desmoronar, e você fica desesperado em tentar socorrer todas elas. Por que não pensei antes de colocá-la? Não sei. Só sei que agora está feito. E o pior de tudo é que foi culpa sua. Você colocou a peça errada e seu castelo desmoronou. Por isso, um conselho: Pense bem antes de colocar a peça.

The life is almost a tetris. You have a great work to build things in your life, you think that everything is working very well, but suddenly, by a mistake yours, the things change. That piece, in seconds, becomes in ruins the beautiful things that had been built. Pieces starts fall down and you gets desesperate, trying to save all of them. Why didn´t you think better before to put that piece? You don´t know. The only thing that you know that unfortunately it´s done. The worst thing of all is: it was your fault! You put the wrong piece and your castle falls down. Therefore, an advice: Think better before that you put the piece.
